Description

The dish is prepared without any unnecessary complications. For those who haven't yet purchased cooking pots, I strongly recommend doing so as soon as possible, as they offer numerous advantages and make any dish taste delicious. At home, I often experiment and cook various meals in my little ceramic helpers, and today I'd like to share one of those recipes with you—how to make veal with potatoes in pots. Tender meat and potatoes go perfectly together, and when you add fresh vegetables for juiciness along with a touch of spice from Tabasco sauce and hot pepper, you get a truly interesting and incredibly tasty dish. So hurry to the store to get your pots, so you can prepare this homemade veal with potatoes in pots for your family by dinner time. The finished dish is ready to be served.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

First, cut the veal into small pieces (so they're easy to eat) and sear in vegetable oil over high heat until golden brown. Divide the veal between the pots (I have 2), add spices and salt to taste, and drop one hot chili pepper into each pot.

Now peel the vegetables and cut the potatoes into pieces the same size as the meat. Slice the onions and tomatoes into rings, dice the bell pepper, and chop the fresh cilantro. Next, layer the ingredients in a casserole dish: start with the potatoes, then add the peppers, followed by the onions, and sprinkle everything with cilantro. Finally, top it all with a layer of tomatoes.

    Step 3

Add a few drops of Tabasco to each casserole dish and pour in tomato juice until it almost completely covers the tomatoes, but leave some space from the top edge of the dish (otherwise it will splatter). Place the dishes in a cold oven, turn the temperature to 200 degrees, and bake the meat with potatoes and vegetables for one hour. After that, reduce the temperature to 150 degrees, remove the lids from the dishes, and cook for another 30 minutes.

We'll wait until the pots have cooled slightly, then start setting the table. The dish can be served either in the pots or transferred to individual plates, whichever is more convenient.
