Beef in the oven
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. This meat can be sliced into pieces and served with any side dish; veal goes perfectly with berry and fruit sauces. If you want an appetizing, golden-brown crust, take the veal out of the foil or cooking bag a couple of minutes before the end of cooking. If you prefer your meat rare, reduce the baking time. Only a minimal set of ingredients is required. The ready dish can now be served.

Step 1

1. Carefully remove the film and tendons from the meat, wash it thoroughly, and dry with a paper towel. Make deep cuts, peel the garlic, and insert the cloves into the cuts.

Step 2

2. In a bowl, mix mustard, spices to taste, and salt. Rub the meat with the prepared mixture and wrap it tightly in foil so that the juices released during baking remain inside. Let it marinate for 2–3 hours.

Step 3

3. Place the meat in a preheated oven at 250 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 190-200 degrees and continue baking for another 30 minutes. Remove the cooked meat and let it rest, still wrapped in foil, for another 30 minutes. Slice the meat into pieces and serve hot or cold.
