Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Dissolve the yeast in warm water and place in a warm spot for 15 minutes until a foamy layer forms on top.
- 3
Step 3

Melt the butter, let it cool slightly, then mix with milk, sugar, and activated yeast. Add 1/3 of the flour and stir until the flour absorbs the liquid. Add the egg and salt, then mix. Gradually add the remaining flour and knead into a soft dough that does not stick to your hands. Place the dough in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm place for 1–1.5 hours.
- 4
Step 4

The dough should double in size.
- 5
Step 5

Roll out the risen dough into a rectangular sheet 6 mm thick. Cut it with a sharp knife into equal squares or rectangles. I needed small ones, so I divided it into 32 small buns.
- 6
Step 6

Place the prepared pieces onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover with a towel and let rise in a warm place for 30-40 minutes.
- 7
Step 7

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake the risen buns for 20–25 minutes. Baking time depends on the size of the buns. Brush the finished buns with melted butter.
