
Meatballs in a multicooker on steam

1. Pour hot water over the washed rice and let it sit in a bowl for some time. You can optionally add a pinch of salt.

2. Wash the meat (in this case, chicken fillet is used, but you can also use pork or beef), dry it, and pass it through a meat grinder. Peel the onion and garlic, and grind them as well. If desired, you can also add carrot or a little tomato juice to the recipe for steamed meatballs in a multicooker to make them more juicy.

3. Salt and pepper to taste, mix thoroughly. Drain the rice, removing excess liquid, and add it to the meat mixture. Mix until well combined.

4. Pour water into the bottom of the multicooker bowl and add a bay leaf for extra flavor. If desired, you can also add whole peppercorns or other spices to taste.

5. Grease the steaming bowl with vegetable oil and place it into the multicooker. Form small balls from the minced meat and place them into the bowl.

6. Turn on the "Steam" program and cook for about 35–45 minutes until fully done. Serve steamed meatballs from the multicooker hot, although they remain very tasty even when cold.
