Meatballs with sauce in a multicooker
Description
This recipe won't take much time. It's an extremely simple way to make meatballs with sauce in a multicooker, based on the classic stovetop version—but with one small difference: using a multicooker makes the process much faster, and you won't have to wash piles of dirty dishes afterward. My family absolutely loves these meatballs and always come back for seconds, so they disappear in no time. When friends come over, I have to prepare double or even triple portions, because everyone adores the taste of these simple yet delicious meatballs. Make them for your loved ones for dinner, and you'll be amazed at how quickly their plates empty. Here's my recipe for meatballs with sauce in a multicooker. Serve hot.
Instructions

Step 1

You can make the minced meat yourself or use ready-made store-bought ground meat. Place it in a bowl, add rice and egg. You can finely chop the onion and add it to the meat mixture, or you can grind it in a meat grinder—this way, pieces of onion won't be noticeable in the finished meatballs. Now add salt and ground pepper, and thoroughly mix all the ingredients until you get a uniform mixture.

Step 2

Grind the second onion and grate the carrot on a coarse grater. Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl and sauté the onion and carrot in the "Frying" mode for 15 minutes. Add flour, mix well, then add a spoonful of tomato paste.

Step 3

Mix everything well and fry together for a few more minutes.

Step 4

Now add a spoonful of sour cream, mix well, and start shaping neat little meatballs from the minced meat, placing them into the multicooker. Pour boiled water into the multicooker, enough to almost completely cover the meatballs.

Step 5

Close the lid, set the "Stew" mode and set the time for 40 minutes.

Step 6

After 10 minutes of cooking, open the lid, season the sauce with salt and pepper, and you can add a bay leaf or whole peppercorns. Then close the lid and let the multicooker continue working. When the meatballs are ready, it will beep. Enjoy your meal!
