
Meatballs with mushroom sauce and rustic-style potatoes

The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. It's very easy to make and doesn't require much time. Potatoes are an excellent side dish for meatballs. The ready dish can be served at the table.

1. First of all, let's prepare the meat mixture. Add salt (to taste), as well as cinnamon, white pepper, and marjoram. Mix everything thoroughly. Shape the resulting mixture into small meatballs. Fry the meatballs until golden brown, then remove from heat.

2. Peel the onion and cut it into small pieces. Similarly, clean and slice the mushrooms. In a frying pan, sauté the onion and mushrooms until soft. Then pour in the brandy (one tablespoon) and ignite. Once the blue flame dies out, add flour, cream, and salt. Continue simmering until the sauce thickens. Place the meatballs into a baking dish and pour the sauce over the top. Bake in a preheated oven for 15 minutes.

3. Now rinse the potatoes and peel them. Cut each potato into eight pieces.

4. Boil the potatoes in boiling water for about ten minutes. Be sure to generously salt the water (more than usual). Now transfer the potatoes to a frying pan and fry until a crispy crust forms.
