Step 1

Rinse the raw rice under running water, place it in a saucepan, cover with water, and cook for twenty to twenty-five minutes until done, adding salt to taste. Drain any remaining water from the cooked rice.

Step 2

Peel the onion and cut it into cubes. Peel and wash the carrot, then grate it on a coarse grater. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and add the carrot and onion. Sauté the vegetables for five to ten minutes.

Step 3

Place the raw ground pork into a deep bowl, add the cooked rice, beat in the chicken eggs, and add the sautéed vegetables. Season all ingredients with salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.

Step 4

Wet your hands with water or vegetable oil. Roll the prepared minced mixture into meatballs. They can be any size, but preferably small, about the size of a large walnut.
- 5
Step 5

In a clean skillet, heat the vegetable oil until smoking. Place the meatballs into the oil and sear them over high heat on all sides until golden brown.

Step 6

Prepare the tomato sauce, which will serve as the sauce. To do this, in a deep bowl mix tomato paste with sour cream, add salt and pepper, then pour in 500 ml of boiling water. Stir until smooth.

Step 7

Transfer the fried meatballs to a saucepan or pot, pour the tomato sauce over them. Place on the stove and simmer over low heat for forty minutes, covered with a lid. Serve the meatballs hot with sauce and a side dish.
