
Tartlets with sprats
Description
The recipe won't take much time. For these sprat tartlets, you can use ready-made tartlet shells, puff pastry as in this version, or thin lavash, for example. You can also tweak the filling to taste by adding your favorite ingredients. Serve warm or chilled.

1. First, prepare the ingredients. Wash the green onions, pat them dry, and chop them finely. You can also use other fresh herbs to taste in this sprat tartlet recipe.

2. Grate the cheese on a medium or fine grater. You can use any hard cheese you like.

3. In a deep bowl, combine the cottage cheese, mashed well with a fork first, the herbs, and about half of the grated cheese. Beat in the egg and mix thoroughly. If the cheese is not very salty, add a pinch of salt. Season with pepper to taste.

4. If you don't have ready-made tartlets on hand, you can quickly make them from puff pastry. Cut it into small squares and place each one in muffin tins or ovenproof ramekins.

5. Gently press the edges into shape and fill the dough with the filling. Wash the tomato and pat dry. Slice it thinly and place a small piece in each tartlet. Drain excess liquid from the sprats and add one fish to each portion. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top to form an appetizing crust. Now you can bake the appetizer in a preheated oven. In about 15 minutes, homemade sprat tartlets will be ready. Let them cool slightly, then serve.
