Step 1

1. First, the preparation stage. Wash the avocado, pat dry, remove the pit, and cut into small cubes.
- 2
Step 2

2. Cut the salmon into cubes as well, about the same size as the avocado.

Step 3

3. Peel the onion and dice it. This recipe for salmon and avocado tartlets uses red onion (white onion can be blanched in boiling water beforehand to remove excess bitterness). Combine the avocado, salmon, and onion.

Step 4

4. Squeeze the juice from half a lemon or lime. Mix gently.

Step 5

Step 6

6. If desired, you can use ready-made tartlet shells or make them yourself. To do this, combine about 150 grams of flour and 60 grams of butter. Knead the dough thoroughly, adding a pinch of salt.

Step 7

7. Place a small piece of dough in the molds and spread it evenly. Bake in a preheated oven for 20–25 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

8. To keep the tartlet from deforming while baking, place a small piece of parchment in the center and fill it with peas or beans. You can also nest another mold inside.
- 9
Step 9

9. Fill the prepared tart shells with the filling and return to the oven for another 10–15 minutes. When the salmon and avocado tartlets are ready, let them cool in the molds for another 5–7 minutes, then serve. They look beautiful, are filling, and taste wonderful!
