Tartlets with Processed Cheese
Description
The appetizer is quick and easy to prepare. This simple recipe for tartlets with processed cheese will nicely freshen up any holiday table laden with heavy, hearty snacks. 1. First, wash the spinach and pat it dry lightly. 2. Chop it a little and put it in a saucepan. Braise for about 3–5 minutes until soft. You can add a little oil while cooking if you like. 3. Meanwhile, grate the processed cheese on a medium or fine grater. 4. Crack the eggs into a deep bowl and whisk lightly with a whisk. Add a pinch of salt and add the processed cheese. Gently mix until smooth. 5. Let the spinach cool slightly so the eggs do not curdle, then add it to the bowl. Add pepper to taste and more salt if desired. 6. Mix thoroughly again and divide the mixture among the tartlet shells. 7. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the tartlets on it. Bake in a well-preheated oven for 10–15 minutes until the top is lightly browned. 8. When the homemade processed-cheese tartlets are ready, serve them at the table, garnished with fresh vegetables or herbs if you like.
