Fruit Tartlets in Jelly
Description
A delicious appetizer for any gathering. Making fruit tartlets is easy. I will show you a simple dough recipe for the tartlets themselves, but you can also just buy ready-made molds or use ready-made dough. To make fruit tartlets in jelly, you can use ready-made decorating gel—it is also jelly, only with a firmer consistency, and you will just need to dilute it. Or simply take a packet of gelatin and prepare it yourself. You can use a wide variety of fruits. I like the combination of grapes, mango, and mandarin. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Grate the butter while it is still cold. I had different packs, so the color is slightly different too; it does not make much difference.
- 2
Step 2

Grated.
- 3
Step 3

Add flour and powdered sugar.
- 4
Step 4

Knead the dough; you can use a mixer. You don’t need to knead it for long. Form it into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for an hour.
- 5
Step 5

Meanwhile, prepare the cream. To do this, crack the eggs into a bowl.
- 6
Step 6

Add sugar.
- 7
Step 7

Mix, grate a little lemon zest.
- 8
Step 8

Add half a teaspoon of vanillin.
- 9
Step 9

Add 5 teaspoons of flour.
- 10
Step 10

Beat everything with a mixer. Then bring the milk to a boil separately. Add it to the egg mixture in a thin stream. Stir carefully and place over heat.
- 11
Step 11

Stirring constantly, cook the cream until it thickens.
- 12
Step 12

Remove the cream from the heat, transfer it to a bowl or onto a plate, let it cool, stirring occasionally.
- 13
Step 13

Take the dough out of the refrigerator, divide it into portions, and distribute it among the molds. Put the molds back in the refrigerator for another 15 minutes.
- 14
Step 14

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Put beans or dried beans on top of the dough in the molds so the dough does not spread during baking. Put it in the oven for 15 minutes.
- 15
Step 15

Then return the tartlets to the oven so they brown. Meanwhile, cut up your favorite fruits.
- 16
Step 16

Let the finished tartlets cool, then remove them from the molds.
- 17
Step 17

Fill them with the cream prepared in advance.
- 18
Step 18

And decorate it beautifully with fruit.
- 19
Step 19

Dissolve the gelatin over heat, stirring. If you are using decorating gel, simply thin it to a liquid state.
- 20
Step 20

Brush the fruit with jelly.
- 21
Step 21

Put the tartlets in the refrigerator for a couple of hours, preferably overnight, so that the jelly sets.
- 22
Step 22

You can serve ready-made tartlets with fruit in jelly, dusted with powdered sugar.
