Boat-shaped Tartlets
Description
Suitable for both holidays and everyday meals. Even if you're not on good terms with baking, boat-shaped tartlets will turn out perfectly at home, especially since you're using ready-made dough. Depending on what you need them for, you can make them very small for light appetizers or a bit larger for salads, for example. They can also be used for desserts and fruit. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.
Instructions

Step 1

First, thaw the dough. Then cut squares of the desired size with a sharp knife. For the boat tartlet recipe, you can use puff yeast dough.

Step 2

2. On a floured surface, roll out the dough slightly to form rectangles. Do not stretch the dough too much, so the tartlets stay lighter and airier.

Step 3

3. Carefully press the edges together to give the rectangles the desired shape.

Step 4

4. Grease the baking sheet with oil or line it with parchment paper. Carefully transfer the prepared pieces and prick the bottoms with a fork. If desired, homemade boat-shaped tartlet shells can be brushed with a small amount of beaten egg yolk.

Step 5

5. To keep the shells from losing their shape while baking, fill the center with a weight. The simplest option is dried peas. Now you can put the baking sheet in a preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes.
