Zucchini Tartlets

Description

1. To begin, let's start with how to make zucchini tartlets. First, wash the zucchinis, pat them lightly dry, and cut each one into 3–4 pieces, depending on size. From each piece, carefully cut out the center without cutting all the way through, so the "barrel" still has a bottom. Lightly salt the zucchini to taste. 2. Next, you can move on to the filling. These tartlets can be stuffed with anything—meat, vegetables, or mushrooms, as in this version. Pour a little vegetable oil into a skillet and heat it. 3. Peel the onion and dice it finely. Add it to the skillet and sauté until translucent. 4. Wash the mushrooms, pat them lightly dry, and chop them finely. Add them to the onion and sauté until done. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 5. Nuts—you can use any you have on hand—lightly crush them (you can crush them with the bottom of a glass or a rolling pin) and add them to the mushrooms. Mix well and remove from the heat. 6. Carefully spoon the mushroom filling into the tartlets. 7. Grate the cheese on a fine or medium grater and sprinkle it on top. 8. Place the tartlets on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven. Homemade zucchini tartlets take 15 to 35 minutes to cook, depending on the size of the tartlets and the filling. Serve the dish hot, garnished with fresh herbs.
