Large tartlets
Description
The recipe won't take much time. To make large tartlets, we'll need ready-made shortcrust pastry and ready-made custard cream (you can simply use whipped cream if you don't have time to prepare the cream separately). Shortcrust pastry works best for tartlets. As for the filling, you can use anything. I decided to make sweet tartlets. Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Thaw the ready-made dough.
- 2
Step 2

Roll out the dough.
- 3
Step 3

Roll out the dough into a baking form, prick it with a fork to prevent puffing during baking. You can also weigh it down with beans. Bake in the oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes, or until done.
- 4
Step 4

When the tartlets turn golden brown—they're ready. Let them cool, and in the meantime, prepare the cream. Have all the ingredients ready—jam, whipped cream, and the rest.
- 5
Step 5

First beat the cream, then add the custard cream to it.
- 6
Step 6

Beat everything until smooth.
- 7
Step 7

You can assemble both large and small tartlets as you prefer. First, spread jam on them, then sprinkle the jam with coconut flakes.
- 8
Step 8

Then add the cream. Sprinkle with coconut flakes again, or optionally with powdered sugar if desired. In the photo, I have both large and small tartlets for comparison.
- 9
Step 9

Put the ready-made large tartlets in the refrigerator, and before serving, you can decorate them with fruits.
