Fig tart
Description
Delicious baking for the whole family. Most often, we eat figs as dried fruit. I suggest trying a tart made with fresh figs that will surprise and delight your guests, loved ones, and even you yourself. Nowadays, fresh figs are easy to find in stores or online. Figs are a very healthy fruit. Fresh figs are especially appealing because they contain less sugar than dried ones. Figs are rich in potassium, making them particularly beneficial for people with cardiovascular diseases. Fruits give us a wonderful opportunity to treat and maintain our health by preparing amazing dishes like this fig tart.

Place the figs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and sprinkle with sugar (50 grams, reserving a little sugar for later use). Bake the figs in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 10 minutes, until the sugar turns into caramel.

Step 3

Now for the dough. Take the butter out of the refrigerator and let it soften slightly—it should be soft and at room temperature, but not liquid. Mix the butter with the remaining sugar, salt, flour, and egg yolk. Knead the dough.

Carefully place the dough into a tart pan. Bake for about 10 minutes, just until it slightly sets but does not brown. Then mix together the yogurt, honey, mascarpone, and goat cheese. Spread this mixture over the tart base and top with candied figs. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 30–35 minutes.
