
Chicken tacos
Description
Perfect for the table and for drinks. Tacos are a quick-to-make Mexican dish of corn tortillas with filling. Instead of chicken, you can use turkey.

Step 1

1. Cut the chicken breasts into pieces. Dice the chili pepper. Finely grate the cheese. Thinly slice the lettuce. Chop the tomatoes. Season the chicken meat with salt, cumin, and chili. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the chicken and fry for a couple of minutes. Add the green chili pepper. Stir and fry until the meat is cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.

2. Heat rapeseed oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the chicken meat in the center of the corn tortillas, then fold the tortillas in half.

3. Clamp with metal tongs and carefully place into hot oil. Fry for 30–45 seconds on each side until light golden. The flatbreads should not be brown.

4. Place the finished tacos on a serving dish and remove excess oil with paper towels. Sprinkle with grated cheese.

5. Slightly open the tacos and add the filling inside in the following order: sour cream, a few drops of hot sauce, chopped lettuce leaves, diced tomatoes. Serve warm.
