A delicious addition to everyday and festive dishes. I'm increasingly turning to recipes from our mothers and grandmothers, who knew how to make proper preserves and prepared them in such quantities that there was enough for numerous relatives. And who said you can only pickle cucumbers and tomatoes? You can also make a more original version of an Asian sauce, which goes perfectly with steamed meat or fish. This sauce has an interesting and pleasant taste, and thanks to the chili pepper and garlic it contains, it also serves as a good prevention against viral illnesses.

    1. First, I wash the red chili pepper, cut it in half, and remove the seeds, leaving just a few inside. I peel all the garlic. Then I transfer all the vegetables to a blender and chop them, but not too finely, so that some small pieces remain.

    2. Pour water into a saucepan, place it over heat, add sugar, salt, and vinegar, bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat, add the mixture blended in a blender, stir and simmer for 10 minutes after boiling.

    3. Put the starch into a cup and add 8 tablespoons of cold water, mix thoroughly.

    4. Gradually pour the starch into the sauce, which I am cooking over low heat, stirring thoroughly to prevent lumps from forming.
