Cheese appetizer pie with olives
Description
Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. This pie can serve not only as an excellent main dish but also as a delicious hot appetizer. To make a cheesy olive pie, we'll need two types of cheese: Adyghe (or another soft, not too salty cheese) and any hard cheese. Instead of olives, you can use black olives. Dried tomatoes will add a pleasant flavor note.
Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare the yeast dough: mix warm milk, 2 tablespoons of butter, sugar, and salt, add flour and knead the dough. Let the dough rise for an hour and a half, punching it down several times. While the dough is rising, prepare the filling: grate the cheeses, slice the olives into rings, and chop the tomatoes.

Step 2

Knead the finished dough for the third time and divide it into 2 parts. Mix the cheeses with olives, tomatoes, and add Italian herbs.

Step 3

Grease the baking pan with vegetable oil and roll out one ball of dough into a flat layer. Place the dough layer into the pan so that the edges cover the edges of the pan. Evenly distribute the filling over the dough.

Step 4

Roll out the other piece of dough and cover the pie with it. Pinch the edges decoratively. Let the pie rest for about 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200°C, place the pie inside and bake for 10 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 180-170°C and continue baking for another 30 minutes. Total baking time will depend on your oven, so bake until fully done.
