
Cheese sauce with artichokes and spinach
Description
The sauce takes just a few minutes to prepare. The artichoke and spinach sauce has a pleasant, mildly spicy flavor—not too hot—with a delicious blend of cheeses, milk, and fresh spinach. This sauce is highly nutritious, rich in vitamins and beneficial nutrients. The recipe is very simple and even a beginner cook can handle it. Just mix all the ingredients and bake in the oven. The sauce is ready. Store it in the refrigerator and serve with dishes.

1. Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 2 minutes.

2. Slightly reduce the heat and add the spinach. Season with salt and pepper. Stir and cook for 2 minutes, until the spinach wilts.

3. Place the spinach in a sieve and press out the excess juice back into the pan. Set the spinach aside.

4. Rinse the artichokes and dry them. Add the artichokes to the pan and sauté over medium-high heat for several minutes until the liquid in the pan evaporates and the artichokes change color. Remove the artichokes.

5. In the same skillet or another saucepan, melt an additional 3 tablespoons of butter. Whisk in 3 tablespoons of flour until a paste forms and cook over medium-low heat for 1-2 minutes. Gradually pour in the milk, stirring constantly, and cook until the mixture thickens slightly. Add more milk if needed.

6. Add cream cheese, crumbled feta cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, grated Jack cheese, and cayenne pepper. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes smooth.

7. Slice the artichokes and spinach, add to the sauce. Mix until smooth. Pour the sauce into a greased baking dish.
