Cheese sauce for pasta
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Even ordinary pasta can be transformed with a sauce. Instead of store-bought ketchup and mayonnaise, I use this delicious and easy-to-make cheese sauce. It can be served not only with pasta but also with other side dishes. You can use regular hard cheese or varieties with different flavors, such as nutty or blue cheese. Serve the finished dish immediately.

Step 2

2. While the pasta is cooking, I'll prepare the sauce: grate the hard cheese on a fine grater.

Step 3

3. Pour milk into a saucepan, add butter (I have an unusual green-colored one), grated cheese, and spices to taste (salt, black pepper). Simmer the sauce over medium heat until the cheese is completely melted, stirring constantly.

4. I drain the cooked pasta into a colander, then transfer it to a plate and generously pour the prepared sauce over it.
