Deep-Fried Cheese Balls
Description
It works for both a celebration and everyday meals. Cheese balls fried in oil are an excellent beer snack, but for me they're perfect with soups, especially light mushroom or vegetable soups. These balls are also a great accompaniment to chicken broth. Serve the appetizer at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
- 3
Step 3

Press a clove of garlic through a garlic press, break an egg, and mix until smooth. Season with salt to taste.
- 4
Step 4

Add 2–3 tablespoons of flour, depending on the consistency of the cheese mixture; it should be thick enough that you can easily roll balls from it.
- 5
Step 5

From the resulting cheese mixture, form balls and roll them in breadcrumbs.
- 6
Step 6

Heat the vegetable oil until it begins to sizzle, set the heat to medium, and fry the balls until golden. If the heat is too low, the balls will absorb too much oil; if the oil is boiling too vigorously, the balls will burn quickly while remaining raw inside.

Step 7

The fried cheese balls are ready.
