Cheese rolls with salmon
Description
Perfect for the table and with drinks. This recipe makes it easy to learn how to prepare a delicate gourmet appetizer. But despite the simplicity of the process, there are a few small details that will help make this appetizer even tastier. For example, when shaping the roll, you can place a piece of soft cheese inside. Try wrapping the roll in thin lavash. These little tricks make the dish more tender, and with lavash—even more filling. See, it can be served warm or chilled.

Step 2

2. Prepare the salmon. The fillet should be skinless. Cut it into thin slices.

Step 3

3. Rinse the herbs in plenty of running water. Dry well. Chop the herbs as finely as possible, using only the leaves.

Step 4

4. Prepare the cheese base. To do this, use a double boiler. Place the herbs and cheese in the bottom of a smaller container and set it over a pot of water. Stir the mixture constantly with a whisk or wooden stick until the cheese is completely melted.

Step 5

5. Lay out plastic wrap and spread the cheese mixture evenly on it. Cover with a second piece of plastic wrap on top. Roll out into a rectangle. Remove the top layer of plastic wrap. Place pieces of salmon on the cheese rectangle so they do not overlap.

Step 6

6. Roll up the roll carefully, gradually separating the cheese base from the larger edge of the plastic wrap toward the center. Wrap the finished roll in plastic wrap again and place it in the refrigerator. It will take thirty minutes for it to firm up.

7. Remove from the refrigerator. Take off the plastic wrap and cut into pieces. Arrange nicely on a serving platter. Everything is ready to serve to your guests.
