Cheese buns
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. These incredibly tender buns are thanks to the cheese and butter. I also added a bit of ground chili pepper, which gave them a special touch. The buns turned out mildly spicy; next time I think I'll add a pinch of ground black pepper for extra aroma. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients for the buns. Warm the milk and water to 40 degrees.
- 2
Step 2

Melt the butter.
- 3
Step 3

Mix warm milk, water, salt, sugar, and yeast. Dissolve everything.
- 4
Step 4

Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
- 5
Step 5

Add a little flour, cheese, and butter to the yeast mixture. Mix well.
- 6
Step 6

Then add the remaining flour, spices, and knead the dough.
- 7
Step 7

Do not overwork the dough; let the kolobok be soft. As soon as the dough stops sticking to your hands, it means you've added enough flour. Cover the dough with a clean, dry towel and let it rest in a warm place for 1 hour.
- 8
Step 8

After an hour, the dough should have increased in size by at least three times. Press it down with your hands.
- 9
Step 9

Divide the dough into equal portions, the quantity is up to your preference. Place the buns onto a greased baking sheet. Brush with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Let them rise in a warm place for 15-20 minutes. Then bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes at 180 degrees.

Step 10

Remove the finished buns from the baking sheet and cool on a wire rack. Enjoy!
