Cheese and Cream Balls with Tuna and Dill
Description
The appetizer is quick and easy to prepare. Here is the recipe,
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

To make tuna and dill balls, use hard cheese. Grate it on a fine grater. A fine grater works best — the balls will hold a neater shape.
- 2
Step 2

Boil the chicken eggs. Peel them and grate them. Add to the bowl with the cheese.
- 3
Step 3

Add canned tuna. I have tuna packed in its own juice. I drained the liquid so the resulting mixture wouldn't be runny and would hold its shape. You can use tuna in oil, but it's better to drain off the oil and add only the tuna flesh.

Step 4

Add chopped dill (or parsley). Dress the mixture with mayonnaise and mix. I didn't add salt or spices. The tuna provides flavor, and there is salt in the mayonnaise. But you can add some if you like.
- 5
Step 5

With wet hands, roll the mixture into a ball. Coat it in sesame seeds.
- 6
Step 6

Shape all the balls.

Step 7

Serve the cheese-and-cream balls at the table, garnishing the dish with sprigs of parsley.
