Cottage cheese pancakes with marmalade
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Add the amount of flour to the cheese pancakes depending on the moisture of the cottage cheese. If the cottage cheese is very wet, you may need twice as much flour. Adding semolina to the dough also helps a lot. I will tell more in the step‑by‑step recipe, serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Add semolina, egg, sugar, and flour to the cottage cheese. Mix thoroughly, remember. When adding flour, adjust according to the dough’s moisture. Let the dough rest for 7–10 minutes so the semolina “does its job”.
- 3
Step 3

Take the dough with a tablespoon, shape it into a flatbread and coat one side in flour. Place marmalade on top, or half of it if it’s large, and press it in slightly.
- 4
Step 4

Add a little more dough on top to cover the marmalade. Fully coat the cottage cheese pancake in flour and fry in heated vegetable oil in a pan on both sides until golden.
- 5
Step 5

Place the finished cheese pancakes on a paper towel to remove excess fat.
- 6
Step 6

Take it out of the oven and serve warm or cooled.
