Description

Step 1
1. To start, mix the cottage cheese with the egg and salt, and blend with a blender until smooth. Add room-temperature butter and milk, and beat well.

2. Place the resulting mixture in a double boiler and melt for 15–20 minutes, stirring constantly. After 5 minutes of cooking, the mixture will become liquid. After 10 minutes of cooking, add the baking soda; the mixture will increase slightly in volume.

3. Add dried dill and mix well. When the mixture melts and reaches the consistency of condensed milk, remove it from the heat and cool to room temperature.

4. Transfer the cooled mixture to a container, cover it with a lid, and refrigerate for 2 hours until the cheese has fully set.
