Cheese in a frying pan
Description
The recipe won’t take much time. Be sure to serve sweet-and-sour berry sauces with the fried cheese—they perfectly highlight the flavor of the appetizer itself! For breading, you can use corn flour instead of crushed breadcrumbs. The type of cheese can be any, the main thing is that it should hold its shape, since you won’t be able to slice processed cheese or brynza into pieces. Serve the appetizer to the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

It is better to buy sausage cheese, as it can be sliced into rounds. Remove the film from the cheese and cut it into slices at least 0.5–1 cm thick.
- 3
Step 3

Crack the chicken egg into a deep bowl and beat it with a pinch of salt for about 2–3 minutes. Pour breadcrumbs onto a plate or saucer. Thoroughly heat a frying pan with vegetable oil on the stove over moderate heat. Dip each slice of cheese first into the egg, then into the breadcrumbs. You can repeat these steps several times.

Step 4

Place the breaded cheese slices in hot oil and fry for about 1–2 minutes until golden brown on one side. The oil must be hot; otherwise, the breading will absorb it and fall off the cheese.

Step 5

Using a silicone spatula, flip the cheese to the other side and fry for the same amount of time.

Step 6

Place the hot fried cheese on a plate, garnish to taste, and serve with berry sauce.
