Pork ribs in soy sauce
Description
The recipe won't take much time. My husband absolutely loves pork ribs and cooks them very often using various recipes. Personally, I try to avoid fatty foods, but despite that, this simple recipe of pork ribs in soy sauce is one of my favorites, and I never deny myself the pleasure of enjoying such ribs. Most often, we cook them outdoors at our summer house, where a big group gathers, and we prepare about five kilograms of this deliciousness—and why not, since ribs are quite an economical product, and preparing this dish is extremely easy. The taste is simply amazing! The meat on the ribs turns out very tender and aromatic, slightly spicy—perfect as a snack with beer and other alcoholic drinks. Anyway, I won't say anything more, but instead will immediately explain. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, cut the ribs into pieces, with about 4-5 ribs in each piece, and place them in a deep pot.
- 2
Step 2

Mix the soy sauce with the wine vinegar and pour this mixture into a pot with the ribs. Add water until it completely covers the ribs, then stir everything.
- 3
Step 3

Now take the garlic cloves (no need to peel them) and gently crush them with a knife, then add them to the pot.
- 4
Step 4

Peel a piece of ginger root (about 4 cm) and slice it, then add it to the pot.
- 5
Step 5

Add two star anise stars and place the pot over heat. When the liquid comes to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer the ribs for 45 to 90 minutes, depending on the size of the pieces and the quality of the meat.
- 6
Step 6

The meat on the ribs should be tender but not falling off the bones. Once this result is achieved, turn off the heat, remove the ribs, and let them dry slightly.
- 7
Step 7

Place the dry ribs on a grill rack and put under the broiler. Cook for 5-10 minutes until a golden crust forms, then transfer to a plate and serve. Enjoy your meal!
