Pork chops with a surprise
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Of course, you'll need to spend a little effort preparing this dish, but it's worth it, as this meal includes both the main course and the side dish! By the way, the first time I made this dish, I prepared so much filling that there was plenty left for the next day, and it went perfectly with meatballs. The cutlets themselves turn out incredibly delicious! The meat is very juicy, tender thanks to the sauce, and aromatic thanks to the filling. I highly recommend you try this dish. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the onion, carrots, and celery into small cubes, place them in a saucepan with heated vegetable oil, and sauté for 3-5 minutes.
- 3
Step 3

Then add wild rice (I used a mix of wild and parboiled rice), pour in the broth, and season with salt to taste. Cover the pot with a lid and simmer over low heat for 25–30 minutes, until the rice and vegetables are tender.
- 4
Step 4

The filling for pork cutlets is ready.
- 5
Step 5

Cut the pork loin between the bones. Carefully make incisions in each chop to create a pocket.
- 6
Step 6

Fill the pockets with the prepared filling.
- 7
Step 7

Sprinkle paprika, salt, and pepper on both sides.
- 8
Step 8

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Place the cutlets in the pan and first cook over medium heat on both sides until a golden crust forms, then reduce the heat and cook a little longer.
- 9
Step 9

Then remove the meat from the pan onto a plate, and add a piece of butter to the pan. Once melted, add the flour and stir vigorously. Then pour in the broth, mix well, and simmer until thickened. Finally, add the cream and stir. The sauce is ready.

Step 10

Place the meat into the sauce, pour the sauce over the top so that it completely covers the meat. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook over low heat for 10–12 minutes (or until the meat is fully cooked through, depending on the thickness of the meat).

Step 11

Pork chops stuffed with wild rice and vegetables are ready! You can serve them even without a side dish. Enjoy your meal!
