Pork baked in the oven with sour cream
Description
This dish goes well with any side dish or can be served on its own. If you'd like it to be more filling, you can add vegetables to the pork, such as potatoes or mushrooms. No particularly fancy ingredients are required—just pork, onion, sour cream, cheese, flour, and spices, all of which are easily available in any store. 1. Choose boneless pork, wash it, and cut into slices up to 1 centimeter thick. To make the meat more tender, lightly pound each slice. 2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat, add a little refined oil, and sear the pork slices on both sides until golden brown. 3. Peel and wash the onion, slice into rings, and sauté in a separate pan until soft. Season with salt. 4. To prepare the sauce, toast the flour in a dry frying pan. Mix the sour cream with 100 milliliters of water, add it to the flour, season with spices to taste, simmer the sauce briefly, then remove from heat. 5. Grease a baking dish with oil, arrange the seared pork in a single layer, top with the sautéed onion, and pour the prepared sauce over everything. Bake in a preheated oven at 180–200°C for 20–30 minutes. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with grated cheese, and return to the oven for another 5–7 minutes.
