Pork in milk fried in a pan
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Pork cooked in milk at home turns out very juicy, and the milk adds a delicate flavor. Additionally, cooking the meat with mushrooms makes it more filling and tastier. Serve the dish with fresh herbs and a side dish. As an appetizer, you can choose pickles or fresh vegetables. The ready dish can now be served.

Step 1

1. If you think pork and milk are incompatible ingredients, that's not the case. Try cooking pork using this recipe, and this dish will become a family tradition. I decided to make it a bit more interesting by adding mushrooms.

Step 2

2. Sauté the onion together with the mushrooms. I slice the mushrooms lengthwise into medium-thick pieces.
- 3
Step 3

3. When the mushrooms are ready, I sprinkle them with flour and fry a little. Only after that I pour in the milk.
- 4
Step 4

4. While they are simmering, I slice the meat. It's better to use lean pork and cut it into medium-sized pieces.
- 5
Step 5

5. Transfer the meat to a frying pan, cover with a lid, and simmer over low heat for about half an hour. Season with salt and spices to taste.

Step 6

6. Don't skimp on spices for this dish. You can use seasonings for mushrooms and meat, as well as ground black and red pepper.
- 7
Step 7

7. The tenderness of the pork will indicate its readiness. Taste the meat and, in the meantime, you can boil the side dish.
- 8
Step 8

8. These can be vegetables, any porridge, or mashed potatoes.
