Pork stewed in yogurt
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. A sauce made from tomato paste and yogurt goes perfectly with pork and spices. Potatoes, rice, or any porridge make an ideal side dish. If you want to make the dish less caloric, use low-fat yogurt. You can cook the dish in a multicooker, or use the same method in a saucepan or skillet. That's it—your dish is ready to be served.
Instructions

Step 1

1. I highly recommend using leaner cuts of meat for this dish. Ideally, turkey or chicken fillet works best, as the dish turns out to be diet-friendly when combined with low-fat yogurt. However, pork pairs wonderfully with yogurt!

Step 2

2. Immediately fry the pork, cut into pieces, until golden brown. In a multicooker, use the "Sauté" mode.

Step 3

3. Now prepare the sauce: mix tomato paste with yogurt, salt, and spices.

Step 4

4. Mix everything until smooth and let it sit for about 10 minutes.

Step 5

5. Pour the sauce over the meat, add 150 ml of water, mix and simmer for about an hour.

Step 6

6. If the water evaporates earlier than expected, you can add more as needed.

Step 7

7. The dish is ready in an hour! Serve it with any side dish.
