Description

The recipe won't take much time. Pork and pumpkin go very well together—this combination is not only healthy but also delicious. Pumpkin contains a huge amount of beneficial nutrients and vitamins. Serve hot.

    1. First, thoroughly rinse the pork goulash, pour white wine over it, and leave it overnight in the refrigerator. After the meat has marinated, place it on a dry skillet and lightly fry until browned.

    2. Peel the potatoes, rinse them, and cut into small pieces. Pour warm water, about 60 degrees, over the potatoes and leave them for about twenty minutes—this is done to remove the starch. Afterwards, rinse the potatoes with water.

    3. Peel the carrots and onions. Finely chop the onion, and cut the carrots slightly larger. In vegetable oil, sauté half of the chopped onion until translucent. Now add the meat and simmer covered over low heat for about thirty minutes. Then add the potatoes and continue simmering for another fifteen minutes. Season with pepper and salt.

    4. Peel the pumpkin and cut it into large pieces. Sauté the remaining onion with carrots, then add the pumpkin pieces and simmer for about fifteen minutes. Stir and pour in the white wine. Five minutes before finishing, add minced garlic and paprika.

    5. Place the meat with potatoes on a plate, add the pumpkin stewed with carrots, and garnish with parsley.
