
Pork with mushrooms in clay pots

I've said it before—I absolutely love cooking in clay pots, and this simple recipe for pork with mushrooms in clay pots is one of my favorites. Actually, there's nothing superfluous in it, and all the ingredients go so well together that sometimes it's simply impossible to stop eating. Of course, wild mushrooms work best here and make the dish much more delicious, but it also turns out quite good with button mushrooms. Prepare the ingredients: cut the meat and potatoes into small cubes, and chop the onion as desired. Rinse the mushrooms, and if they are large, cut them into pieces. However, I always choose small mushrooms and cook them whole—they look much nicer this way.

Heat oil in a skillet and sauté the meat with onions until golden brown.

Transfer the meat to another dish, and fry the potatoes in the pan for 10 minutes. Then add mushrooms, salt, spices, and cook for a few more minutes.

Now transfer all the contents into pots in any order. Unfortunately, my pots were already in use, so I had to use whatever was on hand.
