
Pork in Eastern style

I don't really like monotony, especially in food, so I often experiment in the kitchen. Today I want to share with you a simple recipe for pork in an Eastern style. This is truly a very easy recipe that you can handle without much effort and with minimal time investment. The meat turns out incredibly juicy and tender, slightly spicy and piquant—overall, with a unique Eastern flavor. If you're really looking to add some variety to your everyday meals, you won't find a better recipe for Eastern-style pork. And if you're not particularly fond of raisins in your meat, you can simply leave them out—they're delicious without them too. So go ahead and experiment boldly; perhaps you'll even manage to improve this recipe and give it a new, unique twist.

Pour black tea with one cup of boiling water and wait for it to steep. Now strain the tea into another container through a sieve to remove the tea leaves. Add another cup of boiling water and put in the previously rinsed raisins, leaving them to soak.

Rinse the pork thoroughly under cold water and let it dry. Then cut the meat into small cubes about 2 centimeters in size.

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and sear the pork on all sides until golden brown.

Reduce the heat to minimum and pour one cup of tea into the pan. Simmer the meat for 10 minutes. Now add salt and all the spices, mix well, and continue simmering over low heat until the meat is fully cooked. During cooking, add more tea to the pan as needed.

A few minutes before the meat is fully cooked, add the soaked raisins, a little water, and mustard, then let it simmer for another 10–15 minutes. In a separate skillet, fry the flour until it changes color, then add it to the meat and mix well.
