Hungarian-style pork
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I travel quite a lot, and in every country I try dishes of the national cuisine, and I must say that Hungary is one of my favorite countries in this regard. And of course, I couldn't help but bring back an interesting little recipe, so today I'll tell you. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Cut the pork into portion pieces and season with salt, ground black pepper, and spices to your taste. Place the meat in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.
- 2
Step 2

In a skillet, melt the fat and sear the meat on all sides until golden brown. Transfer it to a plate and cover with foil.
- 3
Step 3

Peel the onion and slice it into half-rings, then fry in the pan where the pork was cooked until golden brown.
- 4
Step 4

Turn off the heat, add ground paprika and mix. Then add flour and mix once again.
- 5
Step 5

Place the pan on the stove and pour in the broth (you can use plain water). When the liquid comes to a boil, reduce the heat.
- 6
Step 6

Place the fried meat into this sauce and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
- 7
Step 7

Now add the sour cream, mix well, and continue simmering.
- 8
Step 8

Wash the pepper, remove the seeds, and cut into strips. Add it to the pan with the meat, mix, and simmer together for another 8–12 minutes.
- 9
Step 9

The finished meat is usually served with polenta, but you can eat it with your favorite side dish.
