Cuban-style pork
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. This Cuban-style pork recipe is a great option for those who love sweet meat, and, of course, for those who enjoy kitchen experiments, just like me. Believe me, the flavor of this dish is so unique that you've probably never tasted anything like it before—but now it's your turn to add a little exotic touch to your everyday menu. It's quite gloomy outside, and plain pasta or ordinary chicken only adds to the dreariness, so let's cheer ourselves up with bright and juicy food. Just look at the ingredients: bananas, oranges, and meat—already I can smell that incredible aroma driving me crazy. And since my vacation is still far away, I'll be absolutely delighted to show you how to bring Cuba right into your apartment and cook Cuban-style pork at home. The dish is now ready to be served.
Instructions

Step 1

Cut the pork into strips, squeeze the juice from the oranges, and add salt, pepper, and thyme to it. Pour the prepared marinade over the pork and let it marinate in the refrigerator for several hours. Then, using a colander, drain the liquid into a bowl and let the pork pieces dry.

Step 2

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and sear the pork over high heat. When the meat turns golden brown, add the chopped onion and cook together for a few more minutes. Then add tomato puree and the remaining marinade.

Step 3

Turn the heat to low and simmer the pork for 20 minutes. During this time, you can prepare the rice as a side dish.
