
Hussar-style pork

This recipe won't take much time. In my opinion, this simple hussar-style pork is an excellent alternative to all the usual festive meat dishes we're accustomed to. I don't know why it has such an unusual name, and I'm not sure hussars ever tried anything like this, but I think they would have definitely enjoyed it. Why not? After all, if you think about it, all the ingredients here are quite simple and familiar—we've just combined them to create such a wonderful dish. Now you don't have to rack your brain over what new and tasty dish to prepare for dinner, because this one will please everyone without exception—at least, that's been my experience. So go ahead, buy any missing ingredients and get started. I'll tell you how to make hussar-style pork—believe me, there's absolutely nothing complicated about it. Serve hot.

Cut the pork into portion pieces, lightly pound them, and season with salt and pepper. In a separate container, mix ketchup and mayonnaise, then coat the meat with this mixture. Place in the refrigerator to marinate for 2 hours.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the pork on it. Slice the onion into half-rings and put it on top of the meat.

Grate the boiled potato on a coarse grater and carefully place it over the onion.

Now mix 5 tablespoons of mayonnaise with 5 tablespoons of ketchup and spread this mixture over the potatoes.
