
Pork French-style with mushrooms

For me, this amazing French-style pork with mushrooms is one of the best recipes ever, because it includes all my favorite ingredients: pork, potatoes, onions, cheese, and of course, mushrooms. In my opinion, it's hard to imagine a better combination, and considering that all these ingredients are quite affordable and the dish takes no more than an hour to prepare, this meat dish becomes truly versatile. You can cook it for a birthday, New Year's, a wedding, or even for a simple family dinner, as it won't take much time or effort. Yet the result is an incredible, mouthwatering dish—simply delicious! The meat turns out incredibly juicy and tender, while the potatoes and mushrooms make a perfect side. This amazing dish is sure to please everyone. Serve hot.

Cut the pork into portion pieces and thoroughly pound under plastic wrap.

Peel the potatoes and slice them, then arrange them on a baking sheet, salt, and pepper. Place the pieces of pork on top of the potatoes, and season them with salt and spices as well.

Peel the onion and slice it into half-rings, then place it on the meat. Rinse the mushrooms thoroughly, cut them into quarters, and place them on top of the onion.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and sprinkle it over the meat, then spread a layer of mayonnaise over everything. Place the dish in a preheated oven at 160 degrees and bake for an hour. Garnish the finished dish with fresh herbs and serve.
