
Pork stuffed with prunes
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. This is a fairly simple recipe for pork stuffed with prunes and blue cheese. If desired, it can be supplemented with a variety of vegetables or other dried fruits, but it is this combination that makes the dish truly amazing. The finished dish can be served at the table.

1. First, prepare a piece of pork, wash it thoroughly, and dry it with a paper towel. Using a sharp knife, make a cut to create a cavity for the filling. Lightly salt the meat on all sides, and add pepper if desired. Garlic, either pressed or minced, also works very well.

2. If you manage to find even a small piece of moldy cheese, be sure to add it in small pieces. It will give an extraordinary flavor and aroma.

3. Pre-soak the prunes in boiling water and let them sit for 5-7 minutes. Then drain the water and dry the prunes on a paper towel. Place them on top of the cheese.

4. Next, there are two ways to prepare stuffed pork with prunes. The first: secure the edges with toothpicks to keep the filling in place, and sear the meat on all sides in a skillet over high heat. The second option, used in this case, is to wrap the meat in thin strips of bacon or ham. Lightly grease the baking tray with vegetable oil, and place the meat into a preheated oven.

5. When the meat is fully cooked, turn off the oven, cover it with aluminum foil, and let it rest for another 10-15 minutes. Serve the dish with your favorite side dish—in this case, fried potatoes.
