Asian-style pork tenderloin with sweet and sour sauce
Description
If you prepare this dish with fresh pineapple, sauté it first until golden brown – this will make the pineapple softer and more flavorful. The pork turns out tender and juicy, and when combined with the spicy sweet-and-sour sauce... Delicious!
Instructions

Step 1

Rub the pork tenderloin on all sides with a mixture of paprika and Chinese spices (half of the total amount). Then tie the tenderloin tightly with kitchen twine—like a sausage. This is necessary for slicing the meat thinly later.

Step 2

Preheat a grill pan, brush it with sesame oil, and sear the tenderloin on all sides until browned. Cover the pan with a lid, reduce the heat to medium-low, and cook the meat for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally. Check for doneness by piercing—the juice should be completely clear! Wrap the cooked meat in foil and keep it warm.

Step 3

Place the onion cut into petals and peppers into a frying pan, add pineapple pieces and chopped ginger. Fry, stirring, until lightly browned.

Step 4

Add oyster sauce, soy sauce, syrup, rice vinegar, pineapple juice, and tomato paste. Stir in the remaining spice mixture. Mix well and simmer the sauce for 2-3 minutes. Then dissolve the starch in 50 ml of water, add it to the sauce, and cook until thickened.

Step 5

Place the sauce with vegetables on a plate, then top with the tenderloin, removing the string. Thinly slice part of the tenderloin and sprinkle the dish with shredded green onions. Serve immediately!
