Pork shoulder in a multicooker
Description
Meat that melts in your mouth can be prepared in a multicooker—for example, a whole piece of pork shoulder. It's very convenient: you don't need to cut the meat into portions or prepare it extensively. Just rinse, clean, and braise it. Although even these steps the appliance can do for you! Serve the cooked pork shoulder with any side dish, salad, or pickles.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Rinse the meat in water, remove small bone fragments, and cut off tendons and membranes. Do not remove the membrane that holds the meat together.
- 2
Step 2

Place the shoulder in the multicooker bowl.
- 3
Step 3

Add salt, bay leaves, and ground black pepper. Optionally, you can add other spices and herbs such as dried garlic, oregano, thyme, rosemary, etc.
- 4
Step 4

Pour in hot water and activate the "Stewing" mode for 1 hour. Close the appliance with the lid and go about your business, waiting for the cooking to finish. Once it's done, the appliance will emit a sound signal. There's no need to flip the shoulder; it will cook perfectly on top as well, where there's no liquid.

Step 5

Remove the bone-in meat onto a plate or serving dish, serve it warm with any sauce and fresh herbs, along with sliced vegetables such as tomatoes and cucumbers.
