Beet cutlets in a multicooker

60 min4 serv.19 февр. 2026 г.

Description

To make beet cutlets in a multicooker, you can also use eggs so the mixture holds together well. But if you're fasting, I recommend simply using more semolina.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

First, boil the beet until cooked.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Then grate the boiled beet on a fine grater.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Finely chop the onion and garlic into small cubes. You can even pass the garlic through a garlic press so it's definitely not noticeable in the dish.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

Then sauté the onion and garlic until golden brown. By the way, you can do this in a multicooker. To do so, simply pour a little vegetable oil into the bowl and select the "Sauté" or "Bake" mode. Cook the vegetables, stirring occasionally.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

Then add the grated beetroot to the onion and garlic in the multicooker bowl, mix well. Add semolina, salt and pepper. Cook in "Frying" mode for 2-3 minutes.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Step 6

Form patties from the resulting mixture. By the way, you can add some chopped fresh herbs to taste. Roll them in semolina and fry in a small amount of vegetable oil in the multicooker using the "Baking" setting. I set the timer for 25 minutes and leave the lid open so that I can flip the patties. They may be ready sooner, once they turn golden brown—just turn them off then.

You can serve ready-made beet cutlets from the multivarka with vegetable sauce, herbs, vegetables, or a light side dish.
