1. Peel the beets, wash them, and cut into sticks. Place them on the bottom of a small saucepan once they have dried slightly.

2. Add all the spices to it, pour in water (you will need one liter). Bring to a boil over low heat.

3. Now arrange the beet pieces in sterile jars. Strain the marinade and mix it with vinegar. Pour it over the vegetables. Seal for winter, then take them out of the cellar and serve at the table!
