
Vegetarian sushi
Description
This appetizer is quick and easy to prepare. As for the filling, you can use absolutely any vegetables you like. In this case, it's carrot, bell pepper, cucumber, and avocado, but you can experiment. Sushi is best served with traditional soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi. Serve the appetizer at the table.

1. First, cook the sushi rice in water with sugar and salt added. Pour vinegar into the cooked rice and mix well. Let it cool slightly.

2. To prepare the filling, peel and cut the vegetables into thin matchsticks.

3. Prepare a mat (if you don’t have one, you can simply use a clean towel) and cover it with plastic wrap. Place a sheet of nori and spread the rice in a thin layer, stopping just short of the edge. Add the vegetable filling.

4. And carefully roll everything into a tight roll.

5. Slice the rolls with a sharp knife dipped in water with rice vinegar.

6. Another option is to spread the rice on plastic wrap, then place a nori sheet on top. Then add the filling.
