Sushi-Mochi
Description
A delicious appetizer for any gathering. Try making sushi mochi using this recipe. The rice and other ingredients are rolled into a ball with the help of plastic wrap. The process is actually not difficult at all, and such sushi looks very unusual! Originally, "mochi" is a Japanese dessert—small, sweet, and also shaped like a ball. That's exactly why round sushi, by analogy, came to be called "mochi" as well. Try making this tasty and visually unusual dish too. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.
Instructions

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Then remove from the heat, wrap, and let rest for 20–30 minutes.

For the dressing, combine the sugar, salt, and vinegar. Heat in the microwave or on the stovetop without bringing to a boil—just until the salt and sugar dissolve.
- 6

Pour the warm dressing into the base and gently stir with a spatula so as not to damage the rice.

Step 8

Place 1 heaping tbsp of rice on the cucumbers.

Step 9

Level it slightly and make a depression in the center. Add a little cheese and any filling you like: lightly salted salmon, avocado, shrimp, crab sticks, etc. To your taste.

Sushi mochi variations can be very diverse. I have lightly salted salmon, which also needs to be thinly sliced and arranged in overlapping layers.
