Dried lemons
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. There are several ways to dry lemons. I suggest using a food dehydrator. This method preserves most of the vitamins and micronutrients. It also doesn't require much hands-on time or constant supervision. Store the dried lemons in a glass container. You can also grind them in a coffee grinder and add to baked goods. Experiment! The finished dessert can now be served.

Step 3

Place the sliced lemons on the dehydrator trays. Arrange the slices so they touch each other as little as possible. Insert the trays into the dehydrator and cover with the lid. Dry at 45–50 degrees Celsius for 7 to 9 hours.

After the specified time, check the lemons. They may have changed color. The flesh should be dry, with no signs of moisture. Transfer to a glass jar, cover with parchment paper, and store in a dry, well-ventilated place.
