    1. Before preparing the soup with potato dumplings, soak the dried mushrooms in cold water. Make a broth from them. Take fresh mushrooms. Clean and wash them, then cut into pieces. Grate the peeled carrots. Finely chop the cleaned onion. Wash and chop the herbs.

    2. Peel the boiled potatoes (cooked in their skins). Grate them on a grater or pass through a meat grinder. Mix the mashed potatoes with the egg. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the butter. Mix well. Gradually add flour. Knead the dough until it stops sticking to your hands.
