
Dumpling soup in a multicooker
Description
This dish is quite common in Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Ukraine, but you can sometimes come across it here as well. For example, I found this recipe online and decided to cook the soup using a multicooker, thinking it would be much easier. And indeed it was, so now I want to share with you this simple recipe for dumpling soup made in a multicooker. Of course, preparing it will take about an hour and a half, but overall, it's no more difficult than making any other soup. Pour a small amount of vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl, set the "Baking" mode for 40 minutes. Peel the onion and cut into quarters, sauté until soft. Then add grated carrots and continue frying.

Cut the meat into small cubes and place it in the bowl with the vegetables; fry for about 10–12 minutes.

Now slice the tomatoes into wedges and add them to the other ingredients. Close the multicooker lid and continue frying until the program ends.

Meanwhile, we'll work on the dumplings. In a bowl, mix the egg and water, add flour and salt, and knead into a firm, elastic dough. Cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

When the "Baking" program ends, we pour 1.5 liters of broth into the multicooker and set the "Stewing" mode for 1 hour. Meanwhile, we continue making dumplings by rolling out the dough into a fairly thin rectangular sheet.

Sprinkle the dough with chopped green onions.

And roll up from both sides into rolls.

Separate them and tightly join the ends.

Cut the rolls into small dumplings 1-2 centimeters long.

Add the dumplings to the soup 20 minutes after starting the "Stewing" mode, season with salt and pepper, close the lid, and continue cooking until the end of the program. Then keep it warm before serving in bowls. Enjoy your meal!
