Dried Peaches
Description
Winter preservation at home. Those who love natural sweets without industrial preservatives or flavorings will appreciate this simple dried peach recipe. Of course, you can buy ready-made dried peaches at the store too, but when I found out how they dry them, I stopped buying them once and for all :) Now I make them myself—fortunately, peaches are inexpensive here in summer. In winter I add them to porridge and baked goods, or eat them as is.
Instructions

Step 2

Place in a pot or bowl, cover with boiling water for 1–2 minutes, then remove and pat dry on a towel.

Step 3

Cut lengthwise into two halves.

Step 4

Remove the pits.
- 5
Step 5

Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in an oven preheated to 60°C until done, in several batches if necessary.
- 6

Store ready peach dried fruit in a cloth bag or a jar in a cool, dark place. Use them for desserts, compotes, homemade baking, or eat them as they are, with tea ;)
